About Us

We are an undergraduate philosophy journal at University of California Berkeley.

You may wonder: "Why is that remarkable?"

Our answer:

All of our papers are written, edited, and typeset by Berkeley undergrads. We are the only journal we know of in the nation that focuses exclusively on showing off what the undergraduates of its philosophy department can do and we are proud to do it. The challenging topics our authors have tackled in past years include philosophy of physics, aesthetics, politics, language, and many more.

The uniting theme behind all of these writings is this: clear insight, argued well. By publishing the best of our undergraduates' philosophical writings, we hope to contribute to Berkeley's tradition of producing great thinkers and game-changing ideas for many years to come.
